Arduino is an open-source electronics platform used for building electronics projects. It consists of both a psychical programmable circuit board (i.e. a microcontroller) and a piece of software than runs on the computer, used to write and upload computer codes to the physical board.
Arduino has become quite popular among beginners in electronics, as it does not need a separate piece of hardware to load a new code onto the board. It is based on a simple and accessible user experience, and used for thousands of projects. It runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux. The platform is used by a range of professionals; from designers and architects to build interactive prototypes, artists for installations, and even teachers and students to build low cost scientific instruments or be educated in programming and robotics.

About Arduino Education
Arduino Education are classroom-based programs that teaches students through STEAM from middle school to university, challenging them to develop their skills, competencies, and knowledge.
The programmes include programmable boards, sensors, mechanical parts, open-source software, and other electronics for students, as well as guided training and support for educators.
